Our rating system has analyzed and determined the rating for each horse from the results of 115,002 Australian horse races.
We have used our rating and tested and validated it against 54,546 races starting from 01-Jan-2019 till 08-May-2023.

Q:
If your rating system is so good then why do you offer this on the web and why do you not use it for your own advantage?
A:
Believe us that we have tried this before we launched this site. However even though our strike rate is very high it is still not a guarantee to success. We have tried various betting strategies using our rating system to see if we could build a "set and forget" betting system. Unfortunately none of these strategies have worked thus far. It is gambling after all and the odds and returns over a long period of time have not shown a profit.
Q:
If you were not able to make a profit then how and why would it work for me?
A:
Instead of having to go through all the Form Guides and analyzing all the data of previous races for all horses in a race you can use our top 5 rated horses and focus on those. This will make your decisions easier because our rating system has already incorporated all the research that you no longer have to do.
Use our rated horses as a starting point and then with your own additional analysis you could back a winner more often.
We have not yet been able to capture the "Additional Analysis" that is required to make a profitable set and forget horse race betting system.
We encourage our registered users to share their "additional analysis" and their success and strike rate.
This information can then be used by other users and maybe this can then be incorporated in our rating system to increase our Strike Rate.
Q:
Can I place bets on PuntersEdge.net?
A:
No. We are not a betting site. We only provide you with information, 5 horses per race rated according to our advanced rating system, to hopefully give you an edge when you place your bets with any of the numerous bookies and betting websites out there.
Q:
Do you guarantee that any of your top 5 rated horse is going to win or run a place?
A:
No. It is gambling so we can not guarantee anything. However if you look at our stats, which has been collected and calculated over thousands of races, you will find that our Strike Rate for our rated horses is very high. This is still no guarantee that in a particular race any of our rated horses will win or run a place.
Results from the past are no guarantee for the future.
Q:
There is no data available for a race?
A:
In some situations you will not get any data. This is most likely because it concerns a Maiden race. These horses have not run before and therefore are not yet known to our rating system. After the race each horse will be rated.
We can only work with the data that is available to us. If a horse had a name change then this will effect the rating.
Please make us aware of any name changes so that we can adjust the system.
Q:
Is PuntersEdge a Free Service?
A:
No and Yes. When you register with PuntersEdge.net you get 30 days of unrestricted access for FREE to all our statistics and our horse Ranking System for Australian horse races.
After the 30 days has expired you can decide whether you want to keep using our service or stop using it.
If you decide to keep using it then we require a monthly fee to continue your subscription with PuntersEdge.net
Our subscription plans are simple and are non-refundable.

Is there an PuntersEdge Android or Iphone App?
A:
Not at the moment. The Android and Iphone App is currently under development and we will notify our members as soon as it becomes available.
